26 Nov to 29 Nov, Dragon Scouts had the opportunity to have a meaningful exchange with boy and girl scouts of the Fort District in Malacca. The scouts are from SMK St. Francis and SMK Infant Jesus Convent. We are indeed honoured to have them hosting us and we certainly had lots of great fun and meaningful time learning from each other in terms of scouting skills and the local culture.
Many thanks too to Mr Timothy from SMK St. Francis whom kindly agreed to host us.
Take a look below at the many great moments that we had in Malacca.
Today is our annual campfire on our 90th year of Dragon Scouting. Also launching today is our “Memoirs of the Dragon” project! This project serve to collect all the “memories” relating to the Dragon Scouts in celebration of our 90 years of Dragon Scouting.
Head over to the project page now and start submitting your “memory”!
Remember we had a poll previously on whether to have a mobile app for this website? Well, I have not created an app so far but there is something close. Imagine viewing Dragons Online! on your smartphone like a magazine with sync features? Look to Google Current!
You can find us by searching “Dragon Scouts” or by directing your mobile browser to this link.
I shall not explain how Google Current works but leave you to understand from the video below.
This is how it will look like on your phone:
Edit: I realised the app (Android & iOS) is only available for the US market. For Android, you can download the Google Currents (version 1.0.1) app here directly instead and install on your phone. This is downloaded from the Android Market (via my phone) so you can trust the file to be safe.
For iOS, it is not available for now unfortunately as iPhone does not allow apps outside of the App Store to be installed.
13 Nov 2010 marks the 5th year at which Dragon Scouts organises the Queenstown District Cub Scout Day. It started off in 2006 when we had Cub Scout Field Day and Cub Scout Campfire on 2 separate days and over the years, the two events evolved into one single event done on a single day – Cub Scout Day.
Take a peek into what the cub scouts did and more importantly the fun that they had during the event.
3 cheers to Radin Mas Dragon Cubs for winning the championship for the 3rd consecutive years !

On 1 August 2010, four of our Dragon Scouts namely SPL David Chin, ASPL Janice Ng, PL Hakeem and PL Stanley together with our teacher in charge, Ms Shirley Tan represented Singapore for the 27th Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree in Seoul, Korea !
They will be there for 10 days and experience for themselves all about Scouting and learn new things through the Jamboree.
We wish them all the best and have a safe journey and welcome them to share with us the wonderful experiences over there when they are back
